Water Resources Manager

At South West Water, we're committed to providing water services to our communities in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. We're seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Operational Procedures Manager to join our Water Resources team in Exeter or Bristol, covering the South West Water, Bristol Water, Bournemouth Water, and Isles of Scilly regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and update operational procedures for all Water Resource Zones (WRZs) to ensure resources are operated in a way that balances factors such as cost, resources, and environmental needs.
- Lead the development and revision of water resources operational procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure procedures are well-documented, comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement decision support tools to facilitate effective implementation of procedures.
- Collaborate with Water Resources and Operations colleagues to deliver tools and projects.
- Facilitate discussions, workshops, and meetings to gather input, address concerns, and ensure stakeholder buy-in for procedure development and updates.
- Act as project manager for procedure development and associated deliverables, such as Operating Agreements and Operating Manuals.
- Experience in water resource operations, including operational and maintenance practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior managers, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management, document management, and business process optimization within the water sector.
- Skilled in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Competitive salary starting from circa £52,000.
