Job Title: Senior Water Resource Strategy Manager

We're proud to be responsible for our region's water resources and are seeking a Senior Water Resource Strategy Manager to join our Water Resources team.

About the Role:
  • Lead the strategic water resource planning team in creating the Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP), Drought Management Plan (DMP), and supporting the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) investigation delivery.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies and investment plans for water resources management, driving 'in AMP' strategies to seek step changes in operational performance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team with a clear vision, objectives, and accountabilities, providing leadership direction, setting the people agenda, and maximizing performance.
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with stakeholders, including building relationships and credibility with the Environment Agency (EA) and leading responses to regulator consultations.
What We're Looking For:
  • A reputable and credible leader in the field of water resource strategy, able to articulate a clear vision with excellent people leadership and influencing skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in strategic water resource planning and regulatory frameworks.
  • Scientific/Environmental/related degree and extensive knowledge of water resources management and its components.
  • Technical knowledge of Water Resources and Environmental regulation, with the ability to prioritize work in accordance with ever-changing demands and manage multiple projects.
