About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resource Strategy Manager to join our Water Resources team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading the strategic water resource planning team in creating the Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP), Drought Management Plan (DMP), and supporting the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) investigation delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the water resource strategic planning team in creating and reviewing the WRMP, DMP, and developing approach for WINEP investigation delivery.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies and investment plans for water resources management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Environment Agency, to build relationships and credibility.
- Oversee the delivery of the Water Resources Strategy portfolio to achieve performance commitments, business outcomes, and regulatory needs.
- Lead the preparation of company annual reviews on delivery against the WRMP, with insight and input from across the business.
We're looking for a reputable and credible leader in the field of water resource strategy, with excellent people leadership and influencing skills. You'll have a proven track record of delivery, personal resilience, and the ability to prioritize work in accordance with ever-changing demands. You'll also have extensive knowledge of water resources management and its components, as well as technical knowledge of Water Resources and Environmental regulation.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of circa £90,000, plus an excellent benefits package, including a company car or cash for car allowance, private medical insurance, and a contributory pension.
