Workforce Planning Manager: A Key Role in Our Growth

At Principality Building Society, we're embarking on a period of significant cultural transformation to simplify our business and create capacity for purposeful growth. To achieve this, we're seeking a seasoned Workforce Planning Manager to lead the development and delivery of an operational workforce planning capability across our organization. This role is pivotal to our growth and success, and we're looking for a strategic talent leader who can drive excellence in people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an operational workforce planning capability across the Principality group, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational outcomes by optimizing people resources, streamlining processes, and leveraging technology.
  • Workforce planning and forecasting to cover operational demands, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Create and maintain accurate staffing schedules to meet our service level agreements, guaranteeing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage design changes to ensure they align with business needs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Forecast all operational demand types and staffing requirements based on historical data, identifying trends and business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement change, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and systems.
  • Mentor and train workforce planning colleagues to ensure competency, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor real-time data to ensure peak activities and shortfalls are addressed, maintaining our high standards of service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in managing workforce planning activities, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in using workforce management software and tools to forecast call volumes and create schedules.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data techniques.
  • Strong diligence and accuracy, with the ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends.
