About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with schools, colleges, and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service
  • Conduct assessments, risk assessments, and care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users
  • Provide leadership and support to the MHST team, promoting initiative, creativity, and motivation
  • Communicate complex patient-related information to facilitate positive outcomes and ensure collaborative working
Requirements
  • Graduate qualification in a relevant healthcare profession (e.g. nurse, social worker, occupational therapist)
  • Extensive clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties
  • Completed or supported to complete the Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (SWP) course or CYP IAPT Low Intensity Supervisor course
  • Full registration with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, NMC, BPS, BABCP)
