About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Senior Clinician and Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in South West Essex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, completing thorough assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and reviews.
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff, including trainees, and support their professional development.
  • Work in partnership with schools, children, young people, and families to develop plans for interventions and agreed outcomes.
  • Support the Locality Clinical Lead in the formulation, treatment, and management plans for schools, parents, and children using a range of psychological interventions.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to co-produce training materials and support the delivery of whole-school approach interventions.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of a graduate training program and eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with evidence-based approaches to low mood, anxiety, and behavior problems with children and young people.
  • Experience of managing and providing supervision, caseload management, and working with partner agencies.
