About the Role:

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring a skilled and experienced individual to manage referrals and reduce rent arrears.

  • You will work closely with Income Officers to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce rent arrears.
  • Assess customers' income and expenditure for homelessness prevention and support fund eligibility.
  • Make informed decisions, balancing risk to improve services.
  • A full Driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing referrals from colleagues mainly in the Income Collection department, but also others in customer-facing roles who find customers struggling to pay their rent due to Welfare Benefit-related issues.
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to reduce rent arrears.
  • Ensuring timely assessments of customers' income and expenditure for homelessness prevention and support fund eligibility.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
