Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Discharge to Assess team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing holistic support and interventions to improve the health and well-being of individuals in their usual residence.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering assessments and interventions in the community, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate timely discharges. You will be expected to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and will be required to travel across the borough of Stockport.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: Hons. Degree in Physiotherapy or Masters degree in Rehabilitation with a licence to practise Physiotherapy.
  • Desirable qualifications: Related academic attainment, Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clinical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to organise caseload and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem-solve.
Work-Related Circumstances
  • Ability to move and handle patients and carry equipment.
  • Undertake out-of-hours duties; evenings and weekends if required.
