About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disability Evaluator to join our team at Maven Consulting Group Ltd. In this role, you will carry out assessments of clients' needs to determine their eligibility for benefits. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments via telephone, video or face-to-face to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Listen to clients' experiences and use your insights to produce a factual report.
  • Gather information and provide recommendations to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in their decision-making process.

What We Offer

We provide an excellent starting salary of £37,800 per annum, plus a 10% bonus equivalent to £3,780+ yearly. You will also enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with working hours from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Full-time and part-time options are available, including hybrid/home working arrangements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An NMC registered nursing qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualification as a Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent IT and computer skills.
  • The ability to work with diverse conditions, including mental health.
