Nurse Specialist in Alcohol and Substance Misuse

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated nurse to join our team in Rotherham, providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse service user group.
As a Substance Misuse Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting health and wellbeing interventions for service users, in accordance with our agreed model of service delivery.
You will assess the needs of service users, implement, and evaluate care plans, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners for the continuity of service.
Key responsibilities include leading on community detoxification programmes, clinics, and groups, working closely with the team to provide comprehensive assessment of need, including risk assessments.
A sound knowledge of substance misuse and an independent prescribing qualification would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from all suitably qualified nurses.
