With an estimated salary of £38,890 to £44,036 per annum, we invite experienced and skilled nurses to join our team as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse on Whatman Ward at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to take on a leadership role in providing high-quality patient care. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of shifts, ensuring that patients receive excellent care, and supporting the team through changes within the NHS.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Leadership Skills
  • Evidence of problem-solving and decision-making skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Computer/IT Skills

Qualifications:

  • RGN
  • Evidence of further study since qualification
  • ENB998 (or equivalent) knowledge skill

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Experience at Senior Staff Nurse Band 5 (or equivalent)
  • IV drug therapy, IV cannulation & venepuncture skills
  • Evidence of insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS
