Job Summary:

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team. As a Team Manager for Children and Young People, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing high-quality services to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals in providing services to children and young people, ensuring that the service is delivered to the highest professional standards.
  • Service Development: Develop and implement service plans that meet the needs of children and young people, working closely with colleagues and partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance of team members, providing regular supervision, coaching, and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their performance targets.
  • Partnership Working: Develop and maintain partnerships with parents, carers, other professionals, and partner agencies to ensure that children and young people receive the best possible outcomes.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to the development of the service business plan, ensuring that the team's objectives, targets, and standards are aligned with the overall service strategy.
  • Equality and Diversity: Ensure that the service is delivered in a way that promotes equality and diversity, adhering to the Council's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience of leading a team of professionals in a similar role.
  • Service Development: Experience of developing and implementing service plans that meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Performance Management: Experience of managing the performance of team members, including regular supervision, coaching, and feedback.
  • Partnership Working: Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with parents, carers, other professionals, and partner agencies.
  • Business Planning: Experience of contributing to the development of business plans, ensuring that objectives, targets, and standards are aligned with the overall service strategy.
