Children and Young People Team Leader

Opus Perm is seeking a Children and Young People Team Leader to support management and lead a team within a residential service for children with disabilities.
Your role as a Children and Young People Team Leader will be to oversee the daily operations of the residential service, ensuring a stable and warm home environment for the children. This is a fantastic opportunity to excel your career, with plenty of opportunity to progress into management roles.
- Assist with the induction and training of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
- Lead a team of staff, including resolving any performance issues and ensuring high levels of support are given at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Undertake regular sleep-in duties and on-call responsibilities, providing 24/7 support to the children and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience in shift/team leading, with a proven track record of success.
- Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, with a strong understanding of child development and care principles.
