Role/Department
The Operational Resilience Governance & Policy Senior Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Northern Trust's resilience strategy, governance, policies, standards, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operational Resilience stakeholders and the Non-Financial Risk Function to develop and maintain the Operational Resilience Framework and supporting strategies.
- Analyze and collectively manage resilience efforts to achieve business outcomes for the resilience program.
- Engage with senior leaders and relevant SMEs across Business Units to set and own resilience frameworks, policies, standards, and reporting.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of resilience frameworks, policies, standards, and frameworks that align with business objectives.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators across Operational Resilience aligned with key risk indicators as part of Northern Trust's overall risk appetite.
- Identify, review, prioritize, monitor, and report on multiple capabilities, milestones, and tasks across the lines of business.
Skills/Experience:
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO22301 and FCA/PRA/BoE, and other country regulator publications in relation to Operational Resilience.
- Several years' experience in Financial Services, with prior experience working specifically within operational resiliency.
- Manages related teams, sets team priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectives.
- Significant experience in Program Governance, Project Management, and Financial Services.
- In-depth knowledge of business, technology, and risk management.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change, self-motivated, and able to independently drive results.
