Job Description

MUFG Bank, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Governance and Change Specialist to join its team in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, operational resilience, and change management.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, specifically the FCA/PRA Operational Resilience Policy Statements (March 2021) and the DORA EU regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Governance and Change Lead to develop and embed sustainable and practical solutions for the management of operational resilience, Crisis Management Response, and Business Continuity Management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting the development, embedding, and managing of the Operational Resilience framework tools and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements to enable the achievement of MUFG's strategic objectives.
  2. Promoting awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the firm through communications and training campaigns.
  3. Maintaining strong collaborative relationships across three lines of defence with key stakeholders.
  4. Establishing and managing the process to monitor the resilience of important business services (IBS's), Critical Important Functions (CIF's) and their supporting resources/critical assets.
  5. Participating in establishing and managing the creation of the Regulatory Self-Assessment.
  6. Coordinating the governance of Operational Resilience.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [£60,000] per annum salary, depending on experience.
  • Experience working in a governance environment, preferably in the UK Financial sector.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Operational resilience module used in organisations (preferred).
  • Understanding of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity (preferred).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UK Regulatory policy statements on Operational resilience and DORA EU regulations.
  • Crisis and Incident Management skills.
