Transmission Line Operative

The estimated salary for this role is £12.68 per hour, dependent on experience and overtime where available. Overtime is paid at premium rates. You will work Monday to Thursday, from 07:30 AM to 17:15 PM.
To succeed in this role, you will need manufacturing, production, or assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. You must be skilled in using hand tools, including air guns, drills, etc., and have knowledge of transmissions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as attention to detail, are essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling parts within a set time period (Takt time)
- Performing visual quality checks
- Using press power tools
- Setting & using torque wrenches
- Following standard works
- Adhering to PPE and Health and Safety requirements
- Some manual lifting
- Working in a team or individually as required
- High use of hand and vibration tools
