Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Care Services Development Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our older people day services, focusing on ensuring service users are supported and encouraged to maintain their current skills while gaining new ones.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting individuals' health and well-being, maintaining independence through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure maximum outcomes. They must possess substantial experience within a care environment and in a management role, as well as a robust knowledge of current relevant legislation.

What We Offer

As a WDC employee, you will have access to the Local Government pension scheme (LGPS) with an employer's contribution of at least 19.3%, a minimum of 25 days annual leave increasing by a day each year up to 35 days, and 8 fixed public holidays per year. You will also enjoy flexible working arrangements and employee wellbeing supports including occupational health and counselling.
