Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our mill engineering team in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance plans are in place and adhered to, reducing production downtime to an absolute minimum.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime
  • Supporting production teams on the PPM system
  • Providing regular reports on maintenance status and engineering performance as KPIs
  • Completing engineering requests in order of priority
  • Maintaining all pressure systems and lifting equipment to comply with legal and insurance requirements

You will also be responsible for assisting in purchasing and stock control of site maintenance requirements and maintaining the company's permit to work system.

The ideal candidate will have electrical qualifications up to 17th edition, experience working on PLCs and inverters, and mechanical experience. IOSH qualification is desirable. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
