About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Engineering group in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our clients' needs and overseeing the technical engineering and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate client specifications into a clear project delivery approach, making sound decisions and communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Manage finances and staffing resources to ensure successful delivery of projects within established budgets.
  • Provide technical multidisciplinary management and represent the design and/or discipline team in discussions with the client and contractors.
  • Ensure appropriate design checks and quality assurance procedures are undertaken, bringing innovation and best practice to projects.
  • Share knowledge, provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members.
Requirements
  • Exposure to the Whole Building Services Design Life Cycle from Concept through to Detailed Design, with experience in a wide range of sectors including Mixed Use, Retail, Commercial, Residential, Tall buildings, and Data Centres.
  • Hold an Electrical Engineering Qualification.
