About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centres and other mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for data centres and other mission-critical projects
  • Research and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems
  • Survey, test, and report on existing electrical installations
  • Ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing meet functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors
Requirements
  • Experience in the delivery of European data centres and mission-critical projects
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Apple Excel, and IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to use specification design/drawing for at least one building type
  • 23 days annual leave rising to 28 days annual leave over 5 years' service
