Job Description

**Electrical Design Engineer - Data Centres**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at RED Engineering Design. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver electrical systems for data centre projects, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and delivery of data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including IEC and IEEE standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
