Job Title: User Experience Designer


Job Summary:


Transport for London (TfL) is seeking a skilled User Experience Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering complex design projects, with a focus on product design, visual design, and interaction design.


Responsibilities:


As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for:



  • Delivering research, design activities, and artefacts
  • Working alongside multi-disciplinary project teams throughout the design process
  • Contributing to the development of TfL's experience design centre of excellence
  • Providing design subject matter expertise and insight to product managers
  • Managing and quality assuring the work of 3rd parties
  • Engaging with external suppliers and stakeholders

Requirements:


The successful candidate will have:



  • In-depth knowledge of visual design and interaction design
  • Experience delivering complex design projects within multidisciplinary teams
  • Significant hands-on experience in visual design, interaction design, and design research
  • Ability to structure and produce clear and well-researched design solutions
  • Computer literacy and ability to use industry-standard design tools
