Role Summary

BNY is seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to join our EMEA Innovation Center in London, UK. As a UX/Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end service experiences for our stakeholders and clients in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design thinking workshops and ideation sessions to spark creative problem-solving and generate fresh ideas.
  • Leverage user journey and experience mapping to visualize and analyze user interactions, deliver service designs, and propose solutions that enhance user satisfaction and increase engagement.
  • Develop personas, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand and define user needs, business goals, and project requirements.
  • Create and maintain design guidelines, pattern libraries, and cohesive design systems that align with BNY's design principles.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation to refine and improve the user experience of systems.
Requirements
  • Relevant years of experience in global financial services or fintech industry as a proven experienced UX/Service Designer.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in user journey mapping techniques, design thinking methodologies, and facilitating ideation workshops.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered, service design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decision-making.
  • Visual design competency desirable with deep understanding of user experience.
  • Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Figjam, Miro, Adobe XD, or similar software.
