Flo is a leading company in the healthcare industry, dedicated to empowering women, girls, and people who menstruate to better understand their bodies and be on top of their health.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer at Flo, you will be responsible for designing exceptional user-centered experiences that meet the needs of our users and drive business success.

You will work closely with UX researchers and data analysts to develop research plans that will help shape the direction of our product. You will use data-driven insights to create human-centered designs that address the needs of our users.

In this role, you will also support product managers and design leads in shaping initiatives and defining roadmaps. You will collaborate with content designers to co-design and visualize concepts that aim to improve our users' experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing end-to-end user experiences that meet the needs of our users
  • Developing research plans to inform design decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Evolving design concepts and user journeys from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups
  • Conducting heuristic evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Requirements
  • At least 6+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms
  • A portfolio or case study that demonstrates great product thinking, user experience, interaction, and visual design skills
  • Experience with systemic design (or service design) and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers and stakeholders
  • Passion for designing complex user journeys, attention to detail, and ability to communicate and articulate design decisions effectively
  • Understanding of end-to-end design process from ideation to launch and ability to collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot any technical issues that arise
  • Competence in Figma and common design tools
