Job Title: National Account Manager

We are recruiting for a dynamic and talented National Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a key position that will be instrumental in driving the growth of our brand in retail and online.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute retailer-specific plans to drive sales growth and increase market share
  • Utilize category and consumer insight to influence customer buying decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines
  • Develop and implement customer-specific promotional calendars to drive sales and increase brand awareness
  • Support current listings, drive new business, and NPD (New Product Development)
  • Support e-commerce initiatives and ensure seamless customer experience
  • Organize sales meetings, develop pitch decks, and draft compelling commercial and consumer-focused proposals
  • Execute sampling activations and events to engage customers and drive sales
  • Forecast expected volumes and sales pipeline and communicate with production and operations teams
  • Analyze and summarize category data to share with buyers
  • Prepare presentations for external sales meetings
  • Complete regular store visits and attend retailer conferences
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in account management within the grocery sector and FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of building and delivering customer business plans with a category and customer-first mindset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build effective cross-functional links
  • Experience with P&L analysis and data interpretation to drive commercial advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote location and as part of a small team
  • Ambitious, driven, and self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently
  • Tenacious, resilient, and confident with excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales/negotiating skills
  • A "get-things-done" attitude and ability to work to deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to manufacturers and retailers
  • Enjoy working as part of a small team
