Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant and Fleet Coordinator to join our team at Galldris Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate with drivers, operators, and suppliers to ensure all vehicles, plant, and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all vehicles, plant, and equipment, including maintenance and repair history.
  • Spare Parts Management: Source and procure spare parts as needed to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Invoice Processing: Provide accurate information to support the payment of invoices related to maintenance and repair services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in delivering services.

Requirements:

  • Coordination Experience: Proven experience in coordinating vehicles, plant, or both.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Health and Safety: Basic understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Geographic Knowledge: Familiar with UK geography.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Plant Background: Experience in the plant industry or a related field.
  • Enthusiasm and Willingness to Learn: A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
