We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Plant Operations Manager to join our team at JRM Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and management of our plant and fleet equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Plant and Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all plant and fleet equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and manage the maintenance schedules for all equipment, including regular inspections, testing, and calibration.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies to our sites, and manage the off-hiring of equipment as required.
- Transportation Management: Arrange for the transportation of equipment to and from sites and our head office as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and issue regular reports on the state of our plant and fleet equipment, including maintenance records and performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to our operations team, and contribute to the development of our company's overall operations strategy.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations, and investigate any incidents or near misses.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, with experience using software applications and systems to manage operations and maintenance.
