Nuclear Safety Case Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administration Team Member to provide general nuclear safety case support to our team. As secretary for the Repository site Management of Environmental, Health and Safety Committee (MEHSC) and Environmental, Health and Safety Committee (EHSC(NSC)), this role is ideal for someone with excellent administration skills and a strong attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake administrative duties for the Nuclear Safety Case team, ensuring all processes are followed.
- Provide secretarial support for Repository site Environmental Health & Safety meetings.
- Serve as primary Change Co-ordinator and assist with queries from Change Managers.
- Coordinate duties under the Change Management process.
- Maintain team databases and process documents according to relevant company procedures.
- Produce annual reviews of Repository site Environmental Safety Committee Meetings.
- Support Head of Site Operations and Maintenance in reviewing open Plant Modification Proposals (PMPs), and subsequently support PMP close out with the Change Manager.
- Prepare and support approval of nuclear safety case clearance certificates and safety case implementation plans as required by the Safety Case Manager.
- Act as administrator of LLWR safety case documentation and ensure these are correctly displayed, stored, and archived on behalf of the Safety Case Manager.
- Assist with delivery of individual work packages as requested by the Nuclear Safety Case Team Manager and Nuclear Safety Case Support Manager.
Requirements:
- Literacy in all Microsoft packages.
- Secretarial experience.
- Experience of producing technical minutes of meetings.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret information and complete review documents.
- Good attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Safety committee secretary support experience.
- Experience of using Sharepoint and familiarity with metadata.
- Excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £42,500 - £58,000 per annum
