About the Role

Espirita is seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to join our team as a Mammographer. As a key member of our breast screening service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring that individuals feel at ease and informed throughout the mammogram process.
  • Mammogram Procedures: Conduct mammogram procedures with precision, utilizing your expertise to optimize imaging of breast tissue.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain our specialist X-ray equipment, guaranteeing safe and effective use.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure details and notable observations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and determine the best course of action for patients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in audit processes, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the enhancement of our breast screening service.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiographer with HCPC registration.
  • Experience working as a Mammographer.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
  • Full driving license and access to a car for mobile work (desirable).
