Job Title: Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer Specialist to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiography department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out specialized radiographic imaging procedures to a high standard, working to departmental guidelines and being accountable for your actions.
  • Deputize for Superintendent Radiographers and lead and coordinate the team in their absence.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to improve patient care and safety.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members and students.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cross-sectional radiography, including CT and MRI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
