Senior Radiographer - Outpatients

Role: Clinical Specialist Radiographer – Outpatients
Location: The Wellington Hospital (Golders Green & Elstree DTC), London
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
Shift Times: Long and short days between 08:00am and 20:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £54,500.00 per annum dependent upon skills and experience (with excellent benefits)

We're seeking a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Outpatients team at Golders Green Outpatients Department & Elstree DTC, part of The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

As a Specialist Radiographer, you'll provide high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and service users.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Rotate throughout all areas of the Outpatients department at both Golders Green and Elstree DTC, providing a safe and effective radiology service.
  • Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
  • Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.
  • Assist the day-to-day running of the imaging service.
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Assist with staff orientation and training.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Extensive MRI and/or CT experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK.
  • DEXA experience desirable.
  • High level of understanding with regards to clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI and/or CT and Plain Film scanning.
