Job Opportunity: MRI Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer Specialist to join our team at a leading healthcare provider. As a Specialist MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have a dynamic and flexible approach to support the needs of the service. You will work closely with a skilled team of radiographers and have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality MRI scans, including MSK and orthopaedics, urology, and GI MRI studies
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients
  • Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and effective scanning processes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration as an MRI Radiographer
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in MRI scanning, preferably in a band 6 or band 7 role
  • Strong background in MSK and orthopaedics, with in-depth knowledge of MRI safety and protocols
  • Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners
