QMS Manager

We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Specialist to support our client in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), driving efficiencies, and improving business processes.

Part-time hours of 18-22 per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility to discuss working pattern.

Salary £30,000 full-time equivalent. Benefits include:

  1. 26 days holiday (pro-rata) + bank holidays (option to buy or sell 5 days after probation)

Duties to include:

  1. Develop and maintain QMS documentation, perform QMS audits, and provide QMS training.
  2. Ensure quality standards are met & ensure compliance to applicable regulations.
  3. Prepare high quality audit reports to assist with system development and training.
  4. Be an ambassador for quality processes & provide education, training & advice to all staff.
  5. Understand the regulatory requirements of the company & ensure compliance.
  6. Build and maintain effective working relationships.
  7. Ensure all duties are carried out in a way which complies with relevant external legislation and regulation, company compliance and other procedures.

Own transport and full UK driving licence required for occasional visits to other offices.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record in developing & maintaining QMS systems
  2. Experience of carrying out audits on a quality system
  3. Strong research and analytical skills, and good maths & problem-solving skills
  4. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  6. Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office, CRM systems, data systems etc
  7. Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
  8. Great team working, build relationships through positive behaviours, honesty, & integrity.
  9. Focus on continuous improvement, able to use own initiative
  10. Commitment to quality & compliance with procedures/regulations
  11. Own transport & full UK driving licence

Desirable attributes:

  1. Experience in a regulated environment
  2. Knowledge of insurance sector
  3. Experience of ISO9001
