Job Overview

Motorsport-Total GmbH is a leading manufacturer of Formula 1 cars, and we are seeking an experienced Lead F1 Car Designer to join our team. As the primary designer of our composite components, you will be responsible for leading the development of these critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop composite components, including chassis, gearbox, nose, and wings.
  • Work closely with the Aero and Structural design department to ensure seamless integration of components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance design efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in composite design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of composite materials, production techniques, and design software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
