Job Title: IT Employability Tutor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Employability Tutor to join our team at LT Selection. As an IT Employability Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality online teaching and learning sessions to adult learners, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital economy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Online Sessions: Design and deliver interactive and engaging online teaching and learning sessions that cater to the diverse needs of adult learners.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Conduct thorough assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop their skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum plans that meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Learning Support: Provide individualized support to learners, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Qualification: A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or Cert ED, is essential.
  • Assessor Award: A Level 3 Assessor Award or equivalent is required.
  • ICT Skills: Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in online delivery platforms and tools.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year's experience in online tutoring is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with adult learners and colleagues.
