This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Research Administrator Assistant.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

As a Research Administrator Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating a portfolio of National Institute Health Research (NIHR) studies, participating in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, and supporting ongoing study coordination.

You will also provide exceptional customer service to patients and carers, book trial-specific investigations and procedures, and collect prescriptions or investigation results.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Coordinate and manage a portfolio of NIHR studies, ensuring timely completion and adherence to protocol requirements.
  2. Participate in GCP training and maintain GCP compliance for self and team members.
  3. Support ongoing study coordination, including site file maintenance, updating quality systems, and preparing documents for patient visits.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and carers, responding to their queries in a professional and tactful manner.
  5. Book trial-specific investigations and procedures, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and protocols.
  6. Welcome patients to clinic appointments, offering refreshments as needed.
  7. Collect prescriptions or investigation results, maintaining accurate records and communication with patients.
  8. Assist in study close-out procedures, preparing study documents for archiving and ensuring compliance with regulations.
