Animal Welfare Position at S3 Science
We are recruiting for a highly motivated Biological Research Technician to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of our facility animals.

Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in animal research, with a starting salary of £26,000 - £29,600 per annum and relocation package if needed. Key responsibilities include:
  • Husbandry and animal care of rodents in the unit.
  • Supporting the facility with daily husbandry tasks.
  • Record keeping, such as animal and laboratory records.
  • Assisting with animal experimentation and research.


Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this position, you will require:
  • PIL License holder (Modules A-C).
  • IAT Level 2 qualification.
  • Previous experience training staff members.
  • BSc or higher in Biological Sciences or equivalent degree.
  • Previous experience working with rodents in a research facility.
