S3 Science is seeking a dedicated Rodent Husbandry Expert to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will contribute to the success of our animal research projects by providing exceptional animal care and husbandry services.
Job Description
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £29,600 per annum, plus relocation package if needed. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Husbandry and animal care of rodents in the unit.
- Supporting the facility with daily husbandry tasks.
- Record keeping, such as animal and laboratory records.
- Assisting with animal experimentation and research.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- PIL License holder (Modules A-C).
- IAT Level 2 qualification.
- Previous experience training staff members.
- BSc or higher in Biological Sciences or equivalent degree.
- Previous experience working with rodents in a research facility.
