Role Summary:

We are recruiting a Research Administrator to work as part of our clinical research team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.08 for 37.5 hours per week or part-time considered.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating a portfolio of NIHR studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in GCP training and maintaining GCP compliance.
  • Supporting ongoing study coordination, including site file maintenance and preparing documents for patient visits.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, carers, and staff, demonstrating excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
  • Booking trial-specific investigations and procedures, welcoming patients to clinic appointments, and collecting prescriptions or investigation results.
  • Assisting in study close-out procedures, including archiving study documents and supporting internal audit and monitoring.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and email.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, respond to changing demands, and remain calm in difficult situations.
