About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality social work services. As a member of our Family Team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver universal and additional health, social care, and child protection services.

Your Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Provide a Social Work Service to children, families, and other carers, including services to looked after children and those on the Child Protection Register.">
  3. Work as a member of a local Family Team, in the context of the Highland Practice Model.">
  4. Travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social
    Worker' part of the Register.">
  • A qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).">
  • The ability to travel efficiently and effectively within Highland.">

What We Offer

">

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £46,000 p.a., with normal salary placement at the first point of the scale. The Highland Council is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds.
