Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Family Support Worker to join our team at the Citadel Youth Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of services to parents and carers, including 1:1 support, themed workshops, and family learning.

The post holder will be based two days per week in Leith Primary School, where they will work alongside Families Project colleagues to deliver a range of services to parents and carers. They will also be based one and a half days per week at the Citadel, where they will work alongside the Families Project team to co-facilitate the Parents Drop In.

The ideal candidate will have excellent partnership working skills and experience of coordinating ambitious national projects and programmes. They will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people and families, and will be able to demonstrate experience in taking a youth-led approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to parents and carers
  • Deliver themed workshops and family learning sessions
  • Co-facilitate the Parents Drop In at the Citadel
  • Work alongside Families Project colleagues in Leith Primary School
