The Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Intervention Specialist to join our Community Intervention Service for Sexual Offending (CISSO) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with individuals and families to provide tailored interventions and support to address their needs and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver group interventions and joint assessments with justice staff
  • To provide training and consultation to justice social work staff and other professionals
  • To contribute to court and assessment reports
  • To travel across Lothian and Borders to deliver services and meet with clients

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience of working with vulnerable individuals and families. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is £39,493 per annum, rising to £46,674 per annum after 12 months. This includes a pro-rata element to reflect the 18-hour working week.
