Primary Care Service Manager Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Primary Care Team at NHS. We are seeking a competent and dynamic individual who has a passion for service change and delivery.
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading operationally on the development of General Medical Services, working with other Primary Care contractors, and providing a liaison role at a regional level.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for day-to-day contract management and performance management of the General Medical Services contract and practice development for practices within a designated area.
- Working as part of the wider Primary Care team, you will be key to the implementation of new ways of working, including the development of federated practices and innovative service redesign.
Requirements
- Educated to Masters degree level, or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience.
- Continuous Professional Development.
- ECDL.
Experience
- Experience of working with primary care general medical practices.
- Experience of managing contracts and monitoring performance.
- Experience of budget setting and monitoring financial position.
- Experience of developing and implementing strategic plans.
Language Skills
