Exciting Opportunity for a Deputy Manager

We are seeking a caring and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Carmarthen. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Manager and team, ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Manager in managing the team and service
  • Plan rotas and manage staff teams
  • Ensure compliance within the service
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices
  • Ensure the safety of service users
  • Follow care plans for each individual
  • Take service users out into the community
  • Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips
  • Varying levels of personal care
Requirements:
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker Experience
  • Must be resilient
  • Drivers essential due to the nature of the role
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care
Benefits:

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun)
