Deputy Manager

We are seeking a caring and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Carmarthen. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager and having joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
- Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
- Ensuring compliance within the service.
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
- Senior Support Worker Experience
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £26,000 - £27,000
- Full-time 40 hours a week
- Permanent contract
- Monday-Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun)
- Location: Carmarthen
