Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator - Payroll Management to join our team in Carlisle, Cumbria.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, including timesheet submission, cost allocations, and absence record-keeping.

You will work closely with the Timekeeper to ensure seamless payroll processing and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage payroll operations for over 200 employees, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  2. Collaborate with the Timekeeper to resolve payroll discrepancies and implement improvements.
  3. Process staff monthly overtime sheets and maintain accurate Absence/Sickness/Holiday Records.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Computer Literate, with ability to obtain BPSS and a P4 pass.
Compensation

This is a full-time contract position offering a competitive salary, estimated at £32,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
