Plant Maintenance Director

SearchTech is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Operations Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy operations, technical knowledge, and leadership skills.
About the Role
The Renewable Energy Operations Lead will be responsible for leading a team of multi-skilled technicians, managing maintenance objectives, and adopting the latest technologies in plant condition monitoring and statutory compliance. They will also hold responsibility for the station's maintenance budgets, ensure alignment with the plants' business plan, and adhere to and manage the procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of multi-skilled technicians, providing guidance and direction
* Manage short-term and long-term maintenance objectives for the site
* Manage the adoption of the latest technologies in plant condition monitoring and statutory compliance
* Hold responsibility for the station's maintenance budgets and ensure alignment with the plants' business plan
* Adhere to and manage the procurement of goods and services
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in power generation/utility operations, a 'time served' apprenticeship, and a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above. You must also have excellent communication skills, IT skills, and your understanding of the procurement process.
Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. A competitive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
