Plant Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems across two sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of plant equipment and systems
- Routine inspections and tests to ensure optimal performance
- Liaising with external service providers and contractors as required
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a complex building environment with responsibility for electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Ability to plan and prioritise work with limited supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours (overtime payable)
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, plus a £5,000 annual allowance
- Standard working hours are 8am – 4pm (36 hours per week)
- 40.5 days holiday (including bank holidays and privilege days)
- Parking on site and an employee discount scheme
