Scotsdales are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Plant Manager to join their Horningsea team.

The successful candidate will have a set day off each week, working every other weekend, with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum. We are looking for an experienced individual to manage both our indoor and outdoor plants offering at the Horningsea Centre.

  • Buy daily stock for both the indoor and outdoor plant areas
  • Maintain high retailing standards across the department, ensuring products are priced, well presented, and neatly displayed
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Lead a small team of general assistants in a fast-paced greenhouse environment
  • Minimize wastage within acceptable levels
  • Respond effectively to weather events, such as frost or heatwaves
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, watering, and more
  • Take overall responsibility for the plants in your department
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues
  • Serve as an ambassador for Scotsdales' values
