Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Randstad Cpe London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a senior leadership role and lead our commercial function.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position, working closely with project teams to provide commercial support. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in cost and value reporting, work package budgeting, and cost control. They will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of projects, including design, installation, test & commission, materials, telecoms, electrification, power, plant, professional services, civil engineering, and permanent way.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commercial function and report to the Commercial Director
* Cost and value reporting, work package budgeting, and cost control
* Commercial management of projects/work packages, including design, installation, test & commission, materials, telecoms, electrification, power, plant, professional services, civil engineering, and permanent way
* Manage work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management, and control
* Monitor and actively manage work package risks
* Prepare internal and external commercial reports as required by the Commercial Delivery Strategy

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Administrator in a contractor-side project environment. They will be able to manage commercial strategies, work with limited supervision, and manage expectations. Strong financial and commercial acumen is essential for this role.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and 25 days' annual leave.
